Economic Upheavals Possible Effects On Trucking Sector
The American Truckers Association has crept their way into the middle of the Wall St. crisis by insisting that the United States government take a more proactive role in solving the current upheaval. In their eyes, not only will their sector be affected by the instability, but that the problem will create a spiderweb of upheaval across may industries.Bill Grave, the President and CEO of the organization announced that not only will the crisis affect pensions and retirement savings, but is crucial in protecting the families of the truckers and all those they do business with.
Currently, the ATA (American Truckers Association) represents nearly 37,000 companies across the industry including UPS and Knight Transportation.
