TNT India Strays from the Pack

TNT India has decided to stray from the pack of DHL, UPS and FEDES.  Instead of providing both express services and third party logistics business services as their competitors have chosen, TNT India will quit the third party logistics service arena to focus entirely on their express business.

TNT India sees third party logistics as a distraction compared to the express business which has seen margins rise 6.1% in the last 5 years.  They hope to refocus their energies so that they might be able to control the 65,000 kilometers of India Highway.  They will no longer dedicate their trucks or warehouses to individual companies.
